University principles
We strive to be an artistic and cultural hub open to the international community--a unique and attractive university that also serves as a center for Aichi arts and culture. To support these aims, Aichi University of the Arts operates under three core principles:
- Provide rich educational and research experiences with consistent focus across all of our undergraduate and graduate programs; with the intent to produce artists, researchers, educators, and other drivers of arts and culture
- Serve as a center for the creation and dissemination of international arts and culture, providing a sophisticated, globally-minded arts education that develops exceptional talent ready to shine on the world stage
- Effectively utilize the university's artistic resources in a variety of spaces (including education, industry, and everyday living) as we work alongside the local community to support the development of arts and culture in Aichi Prefecture
